Poly Bags
Polyethylene bags in custom sizes, gauges, and configurations for medical device primary and secondary packaging. Heat-seal, reclosable zipper, anti-static, and printed options — all sourced through an ISO 13485-certified supply chain.

Poly bags are one of the most versatile components in medical device packaging — used for primary containment, moisture barriers, inter-departmental transfer, and sterile packaging applications. At Primary Packaging Resources, we supply custom polyethylene bags in virtually any size, gauge, or configuration, with the documentation and traceability that ISO 13485-registered manufacturers require. Whether you need a simple clear bag or a printed, anti-static reclosable pouch, we source and deliver to your specification.
Heat-Seal Poly Bags
Low-density and high-density polyethylene bags sealed by heat for secure closure. Available in flat and gusseted configurations in custom widths, lengths, and mil gauges to fit your device geometry.
Reclosable Zipper Bags
Press-to-close and zip-lock polyethylene bags for applications requiring repeated access. Ideal for kitted components, spare parts, and devices that require inspection or repackaging prior to use.
Anti-Static Bags
Pink poly and metalized shielding bags for electronics-sensitive medical device components. Prevents electrostatic discharge (ESD) damage during storage and transit for PCBs, sensors, and electronic assemblies.
Printed Poly Bags
Custom-printed bags with your logo, part number, lot/date coding, UDI barcodes, and regulatory warnings. Flexographic printing available in up to 6 colors on LDPE, HDPE, and co-extruded film.
Sterile Barrier Poly Bags
Polyethylene bags compatible with ETO and gamma sterilization processes. Suitable for use as the inner layer of a multi-layer sterile barrier system when combined with appropriate outer packaging per ISO 11607.
Custom Sizes & Gauges
From 1-mil lightweight bags to heavy-duty 6-mil construction — custom cut to any width and length. We work with your device dimensions and protection requirements to specify the right gauge and configuration.

Materials & Options
- LDPE (Low-Density Polyethylene)
Soft, flexible, and clear. The most common material for general-purpose medical device containment bags - HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene)
Stiffer and stronger than LDPE. Used for heavier devices and applications requiring puncture resistance - Co-Extruded Film
Multi-layer film combining barrier properties, clarity, and seal strength for demanding primary packaging applications - Anti-Static (Pink Poly / ESD Shielding)
Pink polyethylene for dissipative protection; metalized shielding bags for complete ESD protection of sensitive components - Bags on a Roll
Poly bags supplied on continuous rolls; available with plastic cores for sterile environments - Closure Types
Open top (heat-seal), reclosable zipper, fold-over, and self-seal tape options available depending on application
Device Categories We Support
Poly Bags
Poly bags are often treated as a commodity — but the right gauge, material, and configuration matter more than most buyers realize. We help you specify correctly the first time, avoiding costly rework or product damage downstream. With VMI and Kanban programs available, we manage replenishment automatically so your line never runs short on something as fundamental as a bag.

We help you select the right material, gauge, and closure type for your device — preventing over-engineering and unnecessary cost.
